You can check its Global number of average searches per month, Country Wise and even city wise. Just go to Google Keyword Planner, enter your search term you want to check and here is a screen shot as how you will find a result containing your keywords as well as its relevant words as well. Now lets suppose you are targeting above keyword in your content, how will you optimize it? TIPS TO OPTIMIZE YOUR KEYWORDS IN CONTENT:
Use in Title. Use in first paragraph. Use in Image alt tag. Use in last paragraph. Use in Heading such as H2 or H3 However there are some more factors you should consider while optimizing. But you can not really take another step unless you have great contents for your site. Remember, the beauty remains beautiful when it is equal from inside and outside. So, using in meta description will definitely be more appealing to user to click. #4: KEYWORD DENSITY: It is the percentage of times of a word or a phrase used on a page compared with the total number of words used in content. I read in many articles and found that everybody says to keep your density percentage below than 2%. However I consider and I have tested my self too that having percentage below than 1% would be most effective in getting your content ranked without any backlink or anything else such as off page seo. Why this? Because when we repeat our main targeted keyword again and again in content, it is called spam which is considered wrong and sometimes you get penalized just because of it. Also don’t do keyword stuffing which means using so many related words with your keyword. It makes your content more beautiful as images creates an attraction to readers as well as images bring lots of visitors to your site from image search engines such as Google. Lots of text are ignored but images are always considered and viewed. So, the technique is to use relevant images and optimize it for SEO. Now, how you can optimize it? Simply by using targeted phrase or keyword in alt tag of HTML. Like in below example. Remember: Don’t use irrelevant keywords. Like your image has a lion, and you are using “on page seo” as alt tag so it does not make any sense. #8: INTERLINKING: It means to create hyperlinks pointing to your own pages or post that you previously made with targeted keywords.
